The historic olive grove and the challenge of tradition


Among the hills of Avella and Sirignano, Il Moera owns extensive olive groves planted on terraces with dry stone walls. These olive groves, which contain centuries-old varieties such as "Nostrale di Lauro", are a symbol of the company's commitment to preserving agricultural traditions and local biodiversity. Tending these olive groves requires intensive labour, often without the use of machinery, highlighting the importance of sustainable farming techniques that respect the landscape.
