Golden Ale has its roots in English soil, but is now brewed all over the world. Golden Ale is a beer with a recent past, its style having been perfected in the 1980s.
Characteristics Craft Beer "Albachiara" Golden Ale Style
A deep yellow beer brewed with a blend of pale and pilsner malts and fermented with an American yeast strain. It has a white, compact head. The generous hopping gives it herbaceous and resinous aromas that blend with the aroma of honey malt. On the palate, it is sweet at first, then develops a bitterness that lingers in the aftertaste and prepares you for a new drink. A beer for the whole meal or as a thirst-quenching aperitif, it goes well with fresh cheeses, salads and white meats, and is an ideal accompaniment to a good pizza.
